2026 Nuclear Bomb The Giver prompt

" What is that thing... Oh god, it is a bomb!" "Boosh".           4 minutes later, when the world has suddenly been destroyed, I woke up to see that I was floating where Earth used to be. Everyone I knew was gone, everything lost, and gone... forever! But how come that I wasn't dead? Suddenly I looked at both my arms, and I saw a spark coming out of them. I didn't know what it was, but it felt awesome! I had electrical energy running through my body as it speaks, but I could not even feel it.

I decided to try this out. Luckily, and mysteriously, two aliens came in front of me and pointed their guns at me, what a perfect time to get killed... NOT! I flicked my arm forward and I shot blue electricity out of my hand and shocked the scum out of both aliens, but it did not do enough. I wanted to live, so I teleported behind them, kicked them in the head, and shocked them mercilessly and made them unconscious. I decided that parts of the Earth were scattered among the planets and I had to find them and restore Earth and have a new community. It took about 5 years, but I am still 16 and I am young and I am starting a new community. I prayed a bunch of times that buildings and people were restored and that everything could go back to the way it was. I don't like having powers anyway. And in a second later, people and buildings were restored. Everything was back to the way it was.

The Giver Blog Post

In the Giver, community members had to be assigned their future career for their future life at age twelve. I think twelve year olds are not ready to choose their future careers for the rest of their lives because they might not be mature about. I really think that they should choose their jobs or careers at the age of seventeen or higher because they will have to apply for it and they would have to know a lot of things about that job in order to get it. Also, you need to have experience at had to go to college to study that career. Twelve year olds would never... never have any experience on that job whatsoever. Twelve year olds would have to somehow have some background of that job and do a lot of research and somehow impress that particular boss of that company.

If I was twelve and had to choose my future career right now and have that job for the rest of my life is a computer engineer. I would like to have that job because some shortcuts and descriptions of computers and I am really good when it comes to fixing viruses and using new technology. Once I use it once, about a month later, thanks to the Internet, and some neighborhood friends, I know almost everything about that system and the company that made the technology in order for it to work. It also works for gaming technology too. I know applications, shortcuts thanks to my English teacher. Some of them are Ctrl+C= Copy, Ctrl+V=Paste, and many more. What would you want your career to be when you reach eighteen?

Parkour Talent Show
A student named Nick wanted to try out for this year's talent show because he wanted to win for once at something and he also wanted to end the 6-time champions reign of terror and horror, Adam.

Nick decided that he wanted to do parkour outside of the school. Parkour is basically you trying to get from one point to another by doing a series of tricks. So he did all of his homework on the bus, since it was like a fifty-minute ride back home, and did some warm-ups. Sit-ups, push-ups, and jumping jacks. Next he turned on the computer, went on the Internet and searched, "Parkour for Beginners" and a ton of selections came up. Of course, he clicked the first one because he knew that the first choice is always the most popular. So he watched the video over and over again to try and understand the basics and techniques. So after fifty times of watching the video he decided to actually try it. The parkour he was trying to do was the wall run.

So he tried and tried to get the right momentum and speed to actually run across wall as shown in the video but he could not. So he tried one more time and he actually got the right speed. he did it from one foot to the other foot. and he landed safely. He was so happy he did another parkour trick, the wall up. This is basically a wall run but you are running up. You are not really running against the wall. It is actually just a jump from one foot and yet another jump (depending on how high the structure is) by the other foot. So he yet again did it on the first try. After that he did a thief vault and parkour jumps and even a parkour roll which is a somersault when you land from a high jump of when you finish a wall run. The last thing he did was the wall run flip, which is basically a wall up but in the middle of it you have to flip off of the wall. It's basically an escape thing when you are at a dead end and there's nowhere else to go. After that he was ready for the next day.

So the next day came after a really tiring day of parkour the other day. and he ate his breakfast, warmed up and asked his dad to record him doing all of the parkour tricks the other day and the dad went to get his camera when Adam came up and said...

"What are you doing for the talent show?"
" Why do you want to know?" Nick said anxiously.
" I am doing parkour", Adam said eagerly.
" Just get out of here" Nick said.

So when Adam left, Nick got angry like a raging bull. How could he know that I was doing parkour, unless he didn't. whatever it was Nick knew that he knows more and better techniques on how to do the professional parkour. So he learned some more professional techniques and after that his dad came little later than he thought and finally recorded him doing all of the parkour moves he knows. He edited the video to make it look like a movie. He was ready for the talent show the next day.

At the talent show , there was only two people. Adam, and Nick. And of course, Adam went first since he was the champion. Instead of recording the parkour like a smart person ( because outside you would be able to do more parkour than inside) So he could only do the wall run the wall up, and the wall run flip. Only almost three people applauded. When I went up the projector came up and and I inserted the disc and and the movie played. after 5 minutes, almost everyone clapped and the announcer announced " The winner is..... Nick" I was so happy, I took the trophy and ran home immediately and slept in my bed.

"Finally I will be remembered at something", thought Nick.

Below is a videos about doing beginner parkour

What's Happening To Libya!

What's happening to Libya
You heard all about the commotion that is going on in Libya right? That happened all since when Muammar El-Qaddafi has been president of Libya for over 30 years now, he's old so why is he still president. When Muammar finally stepped down from his reign of being president. there was still commotion about his forces. Even our own president Barack Obama had to go to Libya to settle the commotion.

March 31- Muammar seized the valuable oil towns they ceded just days ago under allied air strikes. Libya's foreign ruler, Moussa Koussa, defected to London, dealing a blow to Muammar's government even as his forces made military advances.

March 30-  Leaders of four dozen countries has decided that Muammar had to relinquish power. even though regime aim is not the stated aim of the United Nation.

Special Blog Post

This blog post is actually just a response to one of five videos. The one I am responding to is the one with Will Smith and Jayden Smith when Will says to Jayden that he can't be a professional at basketball and that he should not be wasting his time playing basketball anyway. In my opinion I think that he was a little bit harsh with Jayden and it was a little bit sad too. The video is saying that you should not chase your dreams just because someone else told you that you couldn't do whatever you do that was involved in your dream. Below is that video from a movie and it is a little sad.

Ads, Ads, Everywhere

Ads, Ads, stupid ads, they are  everywhere! 'm serious though... from billboards, to windows, and even to some of Internet's popular websites. Don't you just hate them?
When you see an advertisement for the first time, you feel shocked or excited, then as you see them over and over again, you'll feel as bored as watching the nature channel. The companies expect you to buy their products, so they post advertisements EVERYWHERE and it is just really annoying. i also feel like it is invading my privacy because they will just not stop posting advertisements until you buy their products, and even when you buy a product of a company, they STILL post advertisements. When you are a kid, and you just want to buy a product of a company just so the advertisement from that company will stop, you can not... you know why... because you have to get a STUPID JOB! Well, not all jobs are stupid, but you know what I mean.
Whenever I am in the mood of going on the Internet for watching videos on YouTube, the first thing I see is an advertisement... I'm okay with that, but when I see my first video of the day, I see, yet again, another advertisement playing just before the video starts, and I guess I am okay with that too... but whenever I click on a link to another video, over, and over again, again you might know what is going to happen... another STUPID advertisement plays before each video. Sometimes it is a Google Chrome advertisement which is 15 seconds long, or a movie preview or a video game trailer which is either 15 seconds, to 4 minutes long!!! I'm like, play the video already! By the time of my fifth video I am watching is over, I am really crazed out right then. Not like I stare into outer space, but like the mascot for "Cocoa Puffs" that keeps saying "I'm cukooo for Cocoa Puffs!". Out of five years of my life that I watched videos from YouTube I saw 1,000 and above number of advertisements and I am still counting!
I am telling you... if I see another advertisement from YouTube again, my head will explode! If you see me later than that with bandages wrapped all over my head that is probably why.... SO BEWARE. I mean, tell me how many advertisements you saw before you went loco. And then you'll see how I feel about advertisements randomly popping in on Facebook, YouTube, or any other popular website.

Should iPads Be Replaced With Textbooks

The suspense is on between iPads & textbooks, who will win? Have you ever had an assignment that was in a textbook, that you had to carry it home and all the pain comes in, rushing through your body? Well iPads with the same information as textbooks should be the new textbook in town, or should I say, iTextbook. I think iPads SHOULD be replaced with textbooks and there are an infinite amount of reasons why. The iPad will surely be very lighter than the big old chunky textbook. With textbooks being in your backpack there would be at least 10 or 15 pounds already added to your backpack's weight along with a bunch of other notebooks, folders, and binders. So by the time you go home, you'll feel like you'll need to go in the freezer just to soothe the suffering pain. But with the iPad, it is at least 2, or 5 pounds for so much better results of almost no pain at all. Also, with the iPad, students might actually be more interested in learning that lesson at hand. I say that there might be some applications/games that is related to the lesson that is already  pre-downloaded onto the iPad. So principals if you are reading this post think about replacing textbooks with, the iTextbook (iPad
